Getting started
How does matching work? Tell the matchmaker in the app what you are looking for or what you can offer, in your own words. It reads that into a few details, such as the kind of help and the profession or sector, and introduces you to people who fit. You can check and correct how it read your request with "Check how I read your task".
Why did I get someone in a different profession? If nobody on Linktwos has the exact profession you asked for yet, we may suggest the closest one and say so on the match. Use the thumbs-down to tell us when a match is wrong.
Can I upload my CV? Yes. Tap + in the chat and choose your CV. We fill in blanks on your profile and suggest what you could offer and look for. Nothing is shared until you confirm it.
Your account
I forgot my password. On the sign-in screen tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. We will email you a link to choose a new password. The link works once and expires after an hour. Check your junk folder if it does not arrive.
How do I delete my account? In the app go to Profile, then Settings, then Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and content.
Notifications are not arriving. Check iPhone Settings, then Linktwos, then Notifications, and make sure they are allowed. You can choose which notifications you get in the app's settings.
Events
How do I join an event? Scan the event's QR code with your phone camera, open the link the organiser shared, or enter the event code (it looks like LTW-XXXX) in the Events tab.
What is checking in? On the day, scan the venue QR code at the event. Other attendees see you are "Here now", and people in the room show first in your recommendations.
How do I host an event? Hosting is available to event organisers. Email us to set up an organiser account.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are bought and managed through Apple. To change or cancel, open iPhone Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Linktwos. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Safety
To block or report someone, open their profile or your conversation with them and choose Block or Report. Blocking stops them contacting you. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services first.
