For event organisers

The networking event app that tells every guest who to meet

Most guests leave a networking event having met whoever happened to be standing nearby. Linktwos changes that. Before anyone says hello, every guest gets a ranked list of the people in the room they most need to meet, each with a short reason why. You run the event on the web. Guests join in the app or their browser.

Why event networking usually falls flat

You can get the right people into a room and still have the wrong conversations happen. Guests don't know who else is there, so they talk to the people they arrived with, or to whoever is nearest the coffee. The investor and the founder she'd have backed never cross paths. That's not the guests' fault. Nobody has told them who to look for.

A printed attendee list doesn't fix it. Scrolling a few hundred names and job titles is slow, and titles say very little about who could actually help whom. Event matchmaking software exists to do that sorting for your guests.

Event networking software for every kind of event

Linktwos works anywhere the point of the event is for the right people to meet:

Planning one? Our guides cover how to host a networking event, with a sample agenda, and networking event ideas that work for groups of every size.

How event matchmaking works for your guests

Each guest tells Linktwos, in their own words, who would help them: "an angel investor in food and drink", "a retail buyer for independent shops", "a packaging designer". Linktwos then ranks the other guests at your event by who that person most needs to meet, and puts a one-line reason next to each name.

So instead of wandering, a guest walks in with a short list and a reason to start each conversation.

Check-in by venue code

Guests check in by scanning the venue code when they arrive. Once they have, they show as here now, and people who are in the room show first in everyone's list. That stops guests hunting for someone who didn't turn up.

A speed networking app with matched rounds

Speed networking works best when the pairings are good, and most formats leave that to chance or seating order. With Linktwos, every pairing in every round is picked by who each person needs to meet. Rounds are timed, and a big-screen timer runs the room, so you can put it on a projector and let it keep everyone moving. Each guest can see their round and who they're with.

If you're planning a session, our guide to speed networking covers formats, timings and how to run the room.

Event chat and host announcements

Every event gets one chat for everyone there, plus announcements from you as the host. Use it for "talks start in five minutes, main room" or "speed networking begins at 7". Guests can use the chat to find each other and arrange where to meet.

Guests at an event can also message each other directly, and each guest can switch that off. Outside your event, nobody can cold-message them.

Joining by link, QR code or code

Guests join from a link, a QR code or a short event code, in the Linktwos app or in a browser on any phone or computer. There's nothing they need to install first, which matters when you're asking people to join on their way through the door. Put the link in your confirmation email and the QR code on the welcome sign.

Follow-ups after the event

The value of an event shows up in the weeks afterwards. After yours, guests can connect with anyone they met and message their speed networking partners, so conversations don't end at the door. Our article on how to follow up after networking is a useful thing to send guests the next morning.

Already being used at UK expos

The South West Expo at STEAM in Swindon on 26 November 2026, run by Great British Expos, is one of the first events to use Linktwos to match its guests. Read the coverage.

Questions

How does event matchmaking work on Linktwos?

Each guest tells Linktwos who would help them. At your event, it ranks the other guests by who each person most needs to meet and shows a short reason next to every name. Guests see their top 3 on the Free plan and their top 10 on Standard or Premium.

Do guests have to download an app?

No. Guests join from a link, a QR code or a short code, in the app or in a web browser on any phone or computer.

What kinds of events is Linktwos for?

Any event where people come to meet each other: conferences, business expos and trade shows, networking groups and breakfasts, university careers fairs and alumni events, startup meetups and corporate events. It works for a room of 30 or a hall of several hundred.

How much does Linktwos cost for organisers?

We don't publish organiser pricing. Email Tom at tom@linktwos.com with a few details about your event and he'll talk it through with you.

How are speed networking pairings chosen?

Every pairing is picked by who each person needs to meet, rather than by seating order or at random. Rounds are timed, and a big-screen timer runs the room so everyone moves at the same moment.

What happens after the event?

Guests can connect with anyone they met and message their speed networking partners, so the conversations started in the room can carry on.

Can anyone at the event message my guests?

During an event, other guests can message each other through Linktwos, and each guest can turn that off. Nobody can cold-message them outside that. Anyone can be blocked or reported, and reports are reviewed by a person.
