The South West Expo brings small business owners, entrepreneurs and growing SMEs from across the region into one hall in Swindon. It's one of the first events to use Linktwos, so you can arrive already knowing who to find.
The essentials
- When: Thursday 26 November 2026, 10am to 3pm
- Where: The Great Western Hall, STEAM Museum, Fire Fly Avenue, Swindon SN2 2EY
- Organised by: Great British Expos
- Tickets: free visitor tickets, register on the Great British Expos site
Why use Linktwos at the expo
A business expo is full of people who could help you: suppliers, customers, advisers, other owners solving the same problems. The hard part is finding them in a busy hall in five hours. Most visitors end up talking to whoever is nearest.
Linktwos fixes that. You say, in your own words, who would help you, like "a commercial insurance broker who knows hospitality" or "local businesses that need a new website". Linktwos then ranks the people at the event by who you most need to meet, with a short reason next to each name. People who are a good fit both ways come first.
How to get ready
- Register for your free ticket with Great British Expos.
- Create your free Linktwos account before the day. It works in your browser, so there's nothing to install. You can upload your CV or just tell it what you do.
- Say who would help you. Be specific: the sector, the kind of business and what you want from them.
- Join the event from the link or code shared for the expo, then check in when you arrive so others can see you're there.
- Follow up within 48 hours. Connect with the people you met on Linktwos while the conversation is fresh.
New to expos? Our guides on networking at a conference or expo, what to say at a networking event and following up afterwards will help you make the most of the day.
